What is a PDF?

PDF stands for Portable Document Format. PDF is an eBook format that can be any amount of pages. The PDF format was developed by Adobe for easy distribution of documents in electronic format instead of having to send paper documents by mail. A PDF can be sent by email or downloaded and printed out by the receiver.

PDF’s can contain text, pictures and hyperlinks. Many eBook sold online today or in PDF format. This is a great way to save money on books because PDF’s can be read on PC’s, Mac’s, eBook Reader’s, Smartphone’s and more. Most computer’s and laptops have Adobe Reader which is a free program used to read and print PDF documents. You download it for free here: Adobe Reader
